Türkiye Scholarships for Syrian Students - Türkiye Bursları - Atharan

Türkiye Scholarships Application Dates:

Application starts: 19/03/2025
Application ends: 30/04/2025

The scholarship is reserved for Syrian students.
Citizens of the Republic of Turkey, or those who have lost their Turkish citizenship for any reason, cannot apply for Türkiye Scholarships.
Applicants at the bachelor's level must have been born on 01.01.2004 or later.
The Türkiye Scholarships selection process is based on academic and social achievement, so you must meet the academic requirements of the program you are applying to.
Students currently studying in Turkey at the same educational level as the one they wish to apply to cannot apply for Türkiye Scholarships.
Applicants must not have any health issues (chronic or contagious diseases) that may obstruct their studies in Turkey.
Make sure all information and documents are ready before starting the application. Required documents must be in PDF, JPEG, PNG or GIF format, with each file not exceeding 5 MB and clearly scanned.

Required Documents:

Diploma or Student Certificate: A diploma proving your previous education, or a current student certificate based on the level you are applying to.
Transcript: A document showing the courses and grades from your previous education. For bachelor's applications, the transcript of the last 3 years of high school must be uploaded. For PhD applicants, the transcript must be translated into Turkish or English.
Identity Document: An ID card, passport, or birth certificate issued by an official authority. Using a passport is recommended.
Personal Photo: A photo showing your facial features, taken within the last 6 months.

Optional Documents:

Exam results such as GRE or SAT.
Language proficiency certificates such as TOEFL or a Turkish-language certificate.
Previous or current work experience certificates.
Letters of recommendation.
Achievement certificates or awards.

Depending on your nationality, education level and age, some programs may not appear in the selection list or may be inactive.

How to Apply for Türkiye Scholarships:

Notes:

Students wishing to apply to medical fields must have a high-school diploma average no lower than 90%.
High-school seniors or students in their last semester of bachelor's or graduate programs can apply to Türkiye Scholarships conditionally.
Pay attention to each university you select, because some universities require special certificates such as TOEFL, DELF or YDS.
Türkiye Scholarships does not cover the English preparatory year; therefore, students applying to English-medium programs must hold one of the English-language certificates (TOEFL or equivalent).
