Isik University's mission is to prepare its students to adapt to the rapid changes society, the world, and modern technology are undergoing. The university draws its values from the more than 130-year legacy of the Feyziye educational foundation and from the principles laid down by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk at the founding of the Republic. Isik University stands out for its rich educational heritage stretching back more than 130 years and its connection to the historic Feyziye Schools Foundation (FMV). The university has one of the largest campuses in Turkey, located in the Şile district on the Black Sea coast and home to dormitories, sports facilities, and a theatre, alongside a second campus at the heart of Istanbul's business district in Maslak. Programs are offered in both Turkish and English with a language preparatory year, making the university an attractive option for international and Arab students. It hosts a strong Faculty of Fine Arts known for its modern studios and a Faculty of Engineering equipped with advanced laboratories.
