European University of Lefke

The European University of Lefke's mission is to provide higher education to European and international standards and to graduate students with professional knowledge, critical thinking and environmental and social awareness. The university aims to support scientific research, particularly in the environment, agriculture and sustainability fields connected to the nature of its region, and to serve the local community. It also strives to provide a safe, international learning environment that lets students focus on their studies and personal development.

The European University of Lefke stands out for its long history since 1990 and for its campus in a quiet natural setting away from city noise, which suits students looking for focus and stability. Living costs in Lefke are among the lowest in Northern Cyprus, and the university provides student dormitories close to campus. It offers a variety of English-taught programs with a preparatory language year, and it is notable for relatively rare fields such as agricultural sciences alongside dentistry, pharmacy and architecture. It also offers scholarships and discounts to high-achieving students and has a friendly international student community.
