Through this commitment, our core mission is to enable students with disabilities to fully access educational services and social activities — including personal skill development and participation in sports and hobbies — and to ensure the resources needed for them to reach their full potential.

The university bases its instruction on English and Turkish, giving students the opportunity to improve their skills in both languages. It also offers instruction in additional foreign languages including Japanese, Russian, German, French, and Spanish. The university has 150 research laboratories and provides research and training opportunities for students and academics. It hosts 14 research centers, including the Metal Forming Center — considered one of the most advanced of its kind in Europe. The university offers many disciplines across faculties, institutes, and graduate programs, and includes language and aviation schools. Its campus features buildings housing laboratories and conference halls, plus a range of sports facilities including basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts. The university stands out for its partnerships with universities around the world through student exchange programs. It maintains an advanced research culture, encouraging the research efforts of individuals, groups, and faculty members, and offers its programs in English as well as Turkish. Real support is provided to researchers for applied development, including loans and grants for project planning and implementation.
